Rationale Vision Objective Activities of the Centre Students & Teachers Links with the Community Major Deliverables Future Directions Future Directions Elementz will be providing the infrastructure and equipment to support the research into the life sciences.  The cluster plans to subscribe to an on-line database, "Science Direct", where students and teachers can assess up-to-date journals and research papers.  Elementz plans to build up a virtual depository where students can put up their research work and findings in the Elementz intranet. Each student can then access and share science research work with one another. We hope to form e-learning circles to discuss common science research topics.  There would also be training for staff and students in IT so that its potential to support research can be further harnessed.  Students would be groomed to organize future science and technology conferences and exhibitions.  More partnerships with industries would be formed to explore other areas of research.  Teacher and student attachment to industries and research centres both locally and internationally would be explored.
