The Global Outreach Programme

Every year AJC provides our students with many opportunities to see the world, with at least 12 overseas excursions annually to cater to different interests.

There is the annual Overseas Community Involvement Project (OCIP), which counts Inner Mongolia, Hainan Island and Nan, among its destinations. Our adventurous students have tested their endurance and courage in West Malaysia, Indonesia and Taiwan. CCAs such as the Symphonic Band, Chinese Orchestra, Guitar, Netball, Basketball and Vollyball teams have gone on exchange trips to the United States, China, Thailand, Malaysia and Hong Kong to hone their skills. In particular, our Choir has participated and returned with top awards in numerous overseas competitions in Czech Republic, Malaysia and China.

In the academic department, students have the opportunity to experience overseas education and cultural exchanges. Under the Cambridge University Summer Programme, students participate in a high caliber academic and vibrant cultural experience in Cambridge. The Languages Department also goes on an annual cultural tour to Kunming, China. There are also annual study trips and exchange programmes with our twinning school, Ngyuen Tat Thanh High School in Hanoi, Vietnam and the Bishop’s School in Pune, India.
